The Type 9.1 is a 9th floor flat, three bays wide, at the western end of Frobisher Crescent, near Shakespeare Tower. It is similar to the Type 7.1 and Type 8.1 flats immediately below it. The difference is that the Type 9.1 flat has a penthouse level above the first two bedrooms which contains a third bedroom with an en suite bathroom and windows onto a terrace. As a result, the area on the floor below, which is a third bedroom in the Type 7.1 and Type 8.1 flats is instead a dining room or whatever you wish. The dining room is one room off the entrance hall, but also there is the bathroom. On one side of the hall are the two bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom). The other side of the hall is the living and kitchen area, which is at the end of the ‘horseshoe’ and has windows on three sides. The kitchen is at the west end of this living space.
