This apartment is the middle flat on the east side of Blake Tower.

Entering the flat from the lobby in front of the lifts, you are immediately in (what is designated as) the dining area,. You might otherwise call this a large entrance lobby. To the left of this area is the kitchen, with units against the northern wall (the boundary with the flat to the north. Off the kitchen is the bathroom, which is hardly traditional placing, but perhaps the only choice in the limited options that a former YMCA hostel (which cannot be mucked about too much because it is a listed building as well) provides. In the other direction, past the dining area, you reach the living area. This has very little of its own natural light, but relies on light from the inset windows in the dining area immediately opposite the entrance door.
