Type 110 is a three-storey, two-bedroom, penthouse maisonette in Willoughby House. Type 110 is entered on the middle floor. The living area is 16’9″ wide, but (unlike other flats) it only has half-width windows and sliding doors onto the balcony. The kitchen is a large corner of the living room. Steps up take you to a large ‘lounge/study’ as the City originally designated it, but presumably usually a second bedroom. Steps down take you to a bathroom and to a separate WC and then to a bedroom.

There are eight Type 110 flats in Willoughby House.

There are 11 different types of penthouse maisonette in Willoughby House – far more than in any other house – and most are very similar. They are Types 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112 and 115. Types 108-112 are all entered on the middle floor.

Type 110 is most similar to Type 112, but Type 112 has a shorter corridor and the bathroom and WC are revered. It is also similar to the Type 108, but the Type 110 has separate bathroom and WC.
