Two of the larger flat types in Frobisher Crescent are at either end of the ‘horseshoe’on the 7th floor. Type 7.11 is the flat at the eastern end. The whole of the end of the horseshoe is one 31ft room with windows on three sides, which is the big attraction of this flat. The kitchen is at the east end of the space. The rest of the open area is notionally divided up as a dining area and then a living area at the west end, looking over the Barbican Arts Centre. The main entrance and hall is beyond the kitchen. Off the hall is the bathroom and three bedrooms (two with en suite bathrooms).
The Type 7.11 flat is very similar (in mirror) form to the sligthly smaller Type 7.1 at the other end of the horseshoe, which has two rather than one en suite bathrooms. (The Type 7.11 flat is virtually identical to the Type 8.1 flat immediately above it on the 8th floor.)
