Type 8.2 on the 8th floor is similar, but with slightly larger rooms, to the Type 7.2 flats on the 7th floor. These are the building’s typical two-bedroom flat layout. It is the most frequently found flat type on the 7th floor of Frobisher Crescent, but there are only two such flats on the 8th floor. There are two front-to-back segments on either side of the entrance. You enter the hall of the flat from the outer corridor. One the left are two bedrooms, one facing onto the corridor and the other one facing over the Sculpture Court. There’s a windowless bathroom in between. Turn the other way, to your right, and you enter the open plan living area. The flat’s kitchen is on the outer side with a window onto the corridor. The living room has windows over the Sculpture Court. Since it is quite a long room, the area nearest the kitchen is called a dining area on the developers’ plans.
