Type 13 flats are one-room, studio flats in Thomas More House, which are at ‘ground’ level, looking out onto Thomas More Garden. Type 13s make up 11 out of the 13 lower-garden-level flats in Thomas More House.
The flat’s entrance is in the back of the Thomas More House off the car park roadway. You enter a hall. The combined bathroom and WC is behind you on one side. If you go ahead, you find the kitchen on one side and the living/sleeping area ahead of you, with a window onto the garden.
Most of the lower-garden-level studio flats in Thomas More House are Type 13. The flat at the eastern end of the block is Type 12 – similar but with double-width living/sleeping area. The flat at the western end of the block is Type 14 – identical for all intents and purposes to Type 13.
The flat can be reached from the car park roadway or through the access into Thomas More Garden.
