The numbering is confusing. 'LG21' and 'LG22' means flats 1 and 2 on floor 'LG2'. 'LG2' is short for 'Lower Ground level 2'-the second or lowest basement level.

LG21 runs along about half (the southern half) of the eastern side of the building. There is one other flat on this floor, LG22, which more or less mirrors it on the western side of the building.

The flats only run half way along the building because the front of Blake Tower contains storerooms: a parcel store, a baggage store, a cycle store and a refuse store.

Entering the flat off the entrance lobby, there is a separate WC on the left, and a corridor leading to the living area on the right. Ahead is a lobby with a window facing east. The bedroom is off this lobby on the right and the bathroom is off it on the left.

Natural light for the bedroom - such as it is two levels down - comes from the lobby window.

The en-suite bathroom - more accurately a separate bathroom - has a combined bath and shower.

Taking the other route along the right hand corridor from the entrance door, you reach an 'L'-shaped living / dining / kitchen area. The kitchen is on the right, with a utility room tucked behind it. The living and dining area is on the left with windows facing east.

The missing quarter of the 'L' is semi-external, containing a recent invention, now much-beloved by developers, the 'winter garden', meaning an enclosed courtyard and garden area.

LG21 is similar in size and layout to LG11 immediately above it, except that LG21 has a separate WC, and LG12 does not.
