Type 9A is a Barbican flat type on the 10th, 20th and 30th floors in Shakespeare Tower. Types 9A, 9B and 9C are variants on the standard 8A, 8B and 8C models to take account of communal water tanks which are needed every ten floors in the Barbican towers.
Type 9A has 3 bedrooms, a living room, a breakfast room (4/5 rooms) a kitchen and a bathroom. It is the standard Type 8A layout, but without the shower room.
Type 9A flats have rooms along the south-facing side of Shakespeare Tower, and balconies looking east.
