Unfortunately, I don’t have a plan for Type 5A. This Barbican flat type wasn’t shown in the original brochures for Barbican tower flats.
But I know from lists produced by the City when the Barbican estate was built that Type 5A flats have 3 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a breakfast room (5/6 rooms) a bathroom and a shower room. Type 5A only appears in Lauderdale Tower where there are five such flats.
The Type 5A flats in Lauderdale Tower have rooms along the west-facing side, and balconies looking north.
