Type P2A

Type P2A is the layout of a penthouse maisonette. There are 12 of them in Breton House and 15 in John Trundle Court. Back-to-back in pairs on the top floor, they divide up the whole width of the building between them. The entrance is off an adjoining central spiral stairwell and lift unit. The kitchen is at the back, and the main room - 'the bed sitting room' - is at the window end, looking out of one or other side of the building. Also at the back is a spiral staircase to the upper floor which contains the bathroom and a bedroom.
