Type P1D
Type P1D is the layout of penthouse studio flats in Bryer Court, where there are 8 on the 7th floor. These are very similar in layout to the Type F1D and the Type F1E on the lower floors of Bryer Court. The entrances to the penthouse flats are off a corridor at the back of the building. So the flats all face west onto the garden square. The entrance is straight into the kitchen with a bathroom on one side. Ahead there is a decent-sized living room and bedroom at the window end. They have an attractive barrel-vaulted ceiling.
