Type M2B

The Type M2A and the Type M2B account for most of the maisonettes in Ben Jonson House. There are 44 Type M2As on the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th floors. In Bunyan Court there are 16 M2As on the 2nd/3rd floors. The central corridor is not quite central. On the shallower side is usually a Type F2C studio flat. On the deeper side, is the lower floor of a Type M2A or M2B (which are virtually identical except that the M2B is marginally shorter. The entrance leads to a hall and then to the stairs to the upper level. Beyond is the bathroom and then a bedroom. Going up the stairs, you emerge in the middle of the upper level which takes up the entire width of the building (no corridor). There's a kitchen in the middle, with a dining room at one end and the living area at the other, looking into the Barbican estate.
