The Type M2A and the Type M2B account for most of the maisonettes in Ben Jonson House. There are 42 Type M2As on the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th floors. In Bunyan Court there are 14 M2As on the 2nd/3rd floors. The central corridor is not quite central. On the shallower side is usually a Type F2C studio flat. On the deeper side, is the lower floor of a Type M2A or M2B (which are virtually identical except that the M2B is marginally shorter. The entrance leads to a hall and then to the stairs to the upper level. Beyond is the bathroom and then the bedroom. Going up the stairs, you emerge in the middle of the upper level which takes up the entire width of the building (no corridor). There's a kitchen in the middle, with a dining room at one end and the living area at the other, looking into the Barbican estate.
