Type F2B
Most of the studio flats in John Trundle Court are Type F2A. Back-to-back in pairs, they divide up the whole width of the building between them, and each faces either on to the front or the back of the building. The F2B is just the same, except the window is on the side. So the F2B is the flat at the end of John Trundle Court facing Lauderdale Tower. There is one F2B per floor, giving 5 in all. The entrance is off the adjoining central spiral stairwell and lift unit. The kitchen and the bathroom are at the back, in the centre of the block. The main room - 'the bed sitting room' - has no window at the front of the building, just on the side.
