Type 74
Type 74 is the layout of the penthouse flat on the corner of Gilbert House, directly overlooking to St Giles' Church. So it has quite a view. It follows an unusual 'S' shape, presumably using up left-over space. Many Barbican flats are 'L' shaped - this living room is more like 'V' shaped round the kitchen, with a bedroom at the other end. (As a matter of interest, Type 74 closely resembles Type 46, the layout of a similar penthouse flat on the top floor of Seddon House.
