At the Barbican Centre end of Gilbert House, there are two end flats on each of the six floors (making 12 flats in all) which are Type 70s. They are squeezed into a slightly unusual shape by the larger than usual space for the entrance, stairs and lift unit. There is a dining area in front of the kitchen, as with the normal flats, and a living room (albeit a shallow one), then a dressing room, then a bedroom at the far end with windows in two walls.
