Type 32 is identical for all intents and purposes to Type 31 which is the standard flat layout in east-west-facing terraces in the North Barbican area. (It is also very similar to Type 26 and Type 27 except that in Types 31 and 32 the flat door opens off the central building corridor into a hall area near the bathroom. In Types 26 and 27 it opens into the centre of the living area.)
Type 32 provides a flat with 1 bedroom, a living room, and a dining area (3 rooms). There are 3 in Gilbert House, 3 in Mountjoy House and 3 in Seddon House. Floors either have Type 26s and 27s or 31s and 32s.
