Type 16 is the standard layout of flats at upper-garden-level in the blocks which look south into the Barbican. Thomas More House has 24 which look down onto the garden and Andrewes House has 17 which look down onto the lake. They have 1 bedroom and a living room (2 rooms). (Upper-garden-level means 'above ground floor' level seen from the garden or lakeside, but still sub-podium level.) In Andrewes House the Type 16 flats are on one level only (with a Type 78 and a Type 79 at the Brandon Mews end). In Thomas More House there are first and second floor levels with eight Type 16 flats at each level.
