Type 121

Type 121 is one of the four layouts for houses in Brandon Mews. Type 121s are paired with Type 119s and make up the houses in the centre of the mews, and looking onto Speed Garden rather than the end of the lake. There are 6 such pairs of houses. Houses in Brandon Mews are entered by going down steps from the Podium next to Willoughby House. This is the upper level. Immediately inside the door is the WC, then the bathroom, and then spiral stairs down to the living area. But carrying on, there is the single bedroom overlooking the lake or Speed Garden. Taking the spiral stairs downstairs, the kitchen is at the back and a large living area at the front. The difference between them is that the Type 121 of the pair squeezes a bedroom just inside the entrance door out of space from both houses. Unlike the Type 118 and Type 120 houses, the living area is not split level. There is a store room below the living room.
