Type 119

Type 119 is one of the four layouts for houses in Brandon Mews. Type 119s are paired with Type 121s and make up the houses in the centre of the mews, and looking onto Speed Garden rather than the end of the lake. There are 6 such pairs of houses. Houses in Brandon Mews are entered by going down steps from the Podium next to Willoughby House. This is the upper level. Immediately inside the door is the WC, then the bathroom, and then spiral stairs down to the living area. But carrying on, there is the single bedroom overlooking the lake or Speed Garden. Taking the spiral stairs downstairs, the kitchen is at the back and a large living area at the front. There is a store room below the living room. The Type 119 house gives up space next to the corridor from the Podium entrance, which gives the Type 121 house enough room for a second bedroom. Unlike the Type 118s and Type 120, the living area is not split level.
