The different types of flats in John Trundle Court

Regular Flats

John Trundle Court is almost exclusively made up of studio flats (where the living room and the bedroom are combined). There are 133 flats. The flats either face onto Aldersgate Street at the back, or Beech Garden at the front. Access to the building is up a half flight of steps from Beech Garden, or at 03 garage level. The entrance to each flat is off one of four staircases, of which two are spiral staircases and two are of the normal kind. The flat entrance leads into the studio room which has one window. The kitchen and the bathroom are at the back, in the middle of the building (Types F1a, F2a and F2b).

Penthouse Flats

There are some penthouse one-bedroom flats on the sixth floor. The entrance leads into the living room and kitchen. There is a spiral staircase to the upper floor with a bedroom and a bathroom (Types P2a and P2b).
